At the end of August we went on our first family vacation to Port Aransas. We had the greatest time! We were able to stay at the Evan's condo and meet up with the Heathcotts, Selfs, Griggs and of course the Evans. It was so fun spending time with everyone! The kids had a great time playing together at the condo and the beach. The trip started out a little shaky when I got the stomach bug on the way. I recovered most of the day Friday then I was good to go. Everyone went to the beach on Saturday then grilled out that night. On Sunday we persuaded the guys to forgo Golf and head back out to the beach. Sunday night we all went to dinner. Then...Sunday night Bailey, John and Kelley got the bug... The trip started and ended kind of yucky but we all had a great time on Saturday and Sunday.

There weren't any other families staying at the condo while we were there, so we took up the entire condo. We set up camp at the end of the drive and let the kids run. They had such a great time!
The golf team...Harper brought a golf club and I think it was the preferred toy all weekend.
The result of letting the kids run. The drive was so dirty....their feet changed colors.
First time at the beach...we sent the boys to set up camp at the beach and they definitely picked up bait before heading to the beach. The kids were very interested.
Brookelynn checking out the bait...it didn't make it.
Beach babe....covered in sand
Our camp...a few ladies down the beach were calling us the "2 and under club"
The kiddos...after baby Brooke's bedtime
John got a little fried!
Brookelynn and Cam (B didn't have her shirt on because she had just had ravioli)
