I love this little sprinkler pool...I got it a month ago and it is great for Brookelynn because she can move around and I don't have to worry about her going under. It is just deep enough for to keep cool but shallow enough for her to be able to move around. It also keeps her busy with all of the activities.

My Little Bumble Bee!!

Nita got this precious bumble bee outfit for Brookelynn. It is so cute and she knew she looked cute! silly girl...

The little antennas were the funniest. They would just bounce when she walked and danced.

I think we already found our halloween outfit for this year!

Lake Days

We had a wonderful weekend with our friends John, Jenn & Brynn! My birthday was on Saturday and it was SO special! My first birthday with Brookelynn! My wonderful husband was so thoughtful in all that we did. The day started with Chick-fil-a breakfast then we went to meet Terry & Nita at Bass Pro. While we were there we got a ski rope..to ski behind the bass boat! haha Then we met up with John and Jenn and headed to the lake. It was really windy so we didn't end up skiing but we blew up our HUGE 4-man tube and John tried it out for us. He looked like a little boy sitting in the middle of the tube. When Brookelynn gets older all of her friends will be able to ride with her! We swam twice and rode around for a little bit. After we got off the lake we went to dinner at Sneaky Pete's. The girls were exhausted but it ended up being the perfect place to go. The girls ran around everywhere then crashed in the carseat on the way home. Here are a few pictures from the weekend. I will post more later this week after we get them from Jenn's camera.

This was from Friday night when John and Jenn came over for dinner. I thought this was such a sweet picture of Brookelynn, even if she has food on her face.

Thank you Bailey, Brookelynn, John, Jenn and Brynn for a WONDERFUL birthday weekend. It was so much fun and I am thankful for each of you! To Bailey...thank you for being such a wonderful husband and father to Brookelynn. It was perfect birthday...also thank you to everyone that called and sent text messages. Sorry I didn't get to talk to all of you!

Family weekend at the Lake

A couple of weekends ago the 'News' (and Beals) met at Possum Kingdom for our first family vacation in longer than any of us can remember. We had such a great time! We stayed at our sweet cousin's condo, Thank you Scott and Carrie! Our last vacation with Jenn still living at home...She is growing up! It was also her birthday. This is our family picture...wow we all look lovely! haha Even Nanuq made the trip!

Brookelynn went on her first tube ride!! In her huge life jacket. She did great! We ended up stopping but she never even got scared!

Then she got in the boat to be safe with Daddy.

And Jenn and I rode...oh my...it has been such a long time since I rode a tube! We were so sore on Monday!
Meanwhile, Brookelynn got a sweet nap on her daddy.

Saturday night we had a birthday party for Jenn...it was so fun and everyone was being silly! The kiddos were asleep.

Happy Birthday Jenn! You can see the beautiful cupcakes that mom made! haha They tasted good!

Then we got the sprinkler pool out for Jaxson and Brookelynn. It was Jaxson's first time and he loved it. Brookelynn showed him how everything worked.
