Lots of posts...but first!

Our family has a new addition on the way! I am currently 10 weeks pregnant with Brookelynn's little brother or sister! We are so excited about this little surprise. Everything has been going so well. The Lord has truly blessed us! All is going well and it looks like we will be heading to our normal doctor in a couple of weeks! We are so thankful during this special season and time in our lives. Stay tooned to see if Brookelynn will have a little brother or sister!

Tickle....

Brookelynn just started loving to have her back tickled. It is so sweet and funny at the same time. If we are on the bed she will lay on her tummy and wiggle to let you know, 'she is ready for a tickle'. She loves snuggling with Dad and letting him tickle her back. Brookelynn never sits still but Bailey put her on his knees, started tickling and she was frozen. I had not seen her like this in a long time! She was in heaven! Silly girl...we love her sweet personality that we get to see more and more everyday!

It just felt too good to move!

First REAL haircut!

Well, I finally broke down and got Brookelynn her first real haircut. I was a little worried since it was way past her naptime. But she did GREAT! She was so interested in everything around her...she barely noticed that she was getting a haircut. It looks so cute when it is done...a little layered and trimmed bangs.

First view of the tree...

I put our Christmas tree up on night after Brookelynn had gone to bed. When she woke up she was so fascinated by it! It was so sweet how she was examining every ornament. I had to get a quick picture.

You can tell she was still a little alseep.

Happy Thankgiving....Part 2...

We also had a wonderful Thanksgiving that the new Beal family ranch! All of the girls were quite lazy and the boys hunted and worked all day. I was so lazy that I didn't even use my camera to take pictures. I will get Darby to send me some pictures so that I can post them. We had a great time with the family. It was so nice to be together and not have anything on the agenda! Pictures to come...

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving in Decatur with Rachel's family! It was so great to have a nice relaxing day in the country! We started the day at the Humphrey's house, Brookelynn had so much fun playing with Jaxson & Rhett. Once Mom, Dad & Jenn got there we ate a fabulous lunch played a little more. Then we headed to the ranch for a little more fun! We walked around the beautiful land, fished and sat by the fire! It was a great day!

Our pictures are out of order...but here are a few pictures from the ranch...

A beautiful sunset while Dad, Jared & Bailey were fishing.

Oh my goodness...Dad caught a fish! The first one in 25 yrs!

Back at the house before we went to the ranch the kiddos loved playing on the swing set and playing with all the animals.

Brookelynn met a lot of new animals too! She met Rhett's goats, Christmas & Eve.

She met Brad's elk

And Rhett's horse. She had so much fun and was amazed by all of the new things!!

Fun weekend at home

We had a great weekend at home. Bailey worked in the garage all day on Saturday and we went out to play a few times. Brookelynn loved working with Dad in her boots! Working in her PJs and boots.

This morning I put Brookelynn down for a nap before church and when she woke up her hair looked like this... OH MY!!! I could not stop laughing... That was quite a bad hair day! We had to do some major work to get this ready for church. Crazy hair!!!

Our little Christmas doll. We got a little Christmas tree for Brookelynn's room and we put Brookelynn in the box! Silly girl!

First REAL playdate....

Last night Brookelynn and I went over to play with Jenn and Brynn. It was such a fun night! The girls were SO cute and we made such a sweet memory. Last night was the first time that Brynn and Brookelynn really played together. It was so funny to watch them chase each other down the hall and 'get' eachother. I took the sweetest video on my phone. Maybe I will figure out how to post it one day! I just wanted to make a little note to remember the fun, silly night that we had together. Sorry there were no pictures.

Pig-tails!

Brookelynn's hair is getting so long these days! Thankfully she will leave her bows in a little longer these days but they are by no means permanent. On Friday I was experiementing with her hair and put it in pig-tails! haha It looked so funny. It was fun but I don't think that I have found a new 'doo' for her. We went for a walk and got a couple of cute pics. I wanted to let her walk around a little more but I have created a waterbug. She LOVES the water and is not at all scared of it. She would walk right in to any body of water if I let her. She kept going straight for the creek. It didn't help that Nanuq was in there splashing around.

This is just a silly picture of my girl sneaking her 'snuggie bear' when she knows she is not supposed to have it outside of her bed. She is a silly girl and I love being home with her!
She found me sneaking a picture of her from the back of the stroller. It takes quite a bit of strategy to get a smile out of this little stinker these days around the camera.

Happy Halloween!!

We had such a fun Halloween! We started the festivites on Friday night with Brookelynn's new 'scary' pajamas. Thanks Gigi for the new PJs! On Saturday we planned to make a few stops on our street then head over to John, Jenn and Brynn's. We went to to Caryn and the kids first. Everyone loved her Bee outfit! Thanks Nini, it was a hit!

Here is Brookelynn with all of her buddies: Rachel, Anthony and Anthony's friend. After we saw everyone at Caryn's we headed down to Vicki's for the first 'trick or treat' of the night! She did great! Then we stopped by Mardi's for a few more goodies.

Heading down to Mrs Vicki's to get some candy...so exciting!

Brookelynn's first 'trick or treat'! She did so good...she even got mommy's favorite candy! Then it was time to go to the Self's! When we got there Brynn was so cute in her cheerleader outfit! The girls were so good and played in their costumes.

Brynn wasn't too impressed by the wings

Little 'B' buzzing around...It was such a fun evening. We ate pizza and passed out a lot of candy! Then watched a scary movie...I have decided that I am done with scary movies!

Baylor Homecoming!!!

This weekend we made a quick trip to Waco for Baylor Homecoming! It was so much fun! The girls had a great time and best of all we got to have a brief visit with Jenn. We stayed at the Griggs lake house on Friday night and left early Saturday to head to the parade. It took us a little bit to get out of the house but we made it for the last part of the parade. We saw a lot of our favorite Baylor Bears!
Family picture at the parade...

Brookelynn was very entertained by the parade. She had a blast!
