We had a wonderful long Easter weekend! It started on Friday morning when we met Bonnie (my boss) at the Dallas Arboretum to take pictures of Brookelynn. Bonnie was so sweet and offered to take pictures of Brookelynn and I. We don't have many pictures together...I am normally the one taking the pictures. We were able to get several good ones.
It ended up being such a beautiful Easter day in Abilene. It makes me so thankful that Jesus came to die on the cross for our sins. I am so thankful that Bailey and I have been raised in Christian homes and share the same moral and beliefs. We look forward to teaching Brookelynn all about Jesus and what he did to save her as well. One thing that has been on my heart this weekend is the fact that people (a lot of people) celebrate this holiday and have no idea what we are really celebrating. I am so thankful for the sacrifice that was made for all of us. Ok I will get off of my soap box... here are some pictures of Easter lunch with the family. We went to church with Bailey's family then to lunch with my family. The whole gang was there...grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, cousins and all. We missed Jared, Rachel and Jaxson but we are going to see them this weekend!
